Tri-City Dems to Host Candidates

This is the first major local election event put on by local Democrats. Open to the public, this year’s All Democrats Picnic will feature local democratic candidates and the non-partisan candidates running for the Superior Court Judge positions in our area.

Speakers include George Fearing (4th CD), Carol Moser (8th LD), Tyana Kelley (9th LD), Sam Hunt (22 LD), Chairman of the House Democratic Campaign Committee; Superior Court Judge candidates Salvador Mendoza, Bruce Spanner, Bob Thompson, Vic VanderSchoor, and Jerri Potts.

Laurel Piippo will be speaking on behalf of Initiative 1000. There will also be a spokesman for Governor Gregoire and a National Coordinated Campaign speaker for the Obama campaign.

Questions from the audience will be welcomed and answered.

The event is being held Sunday, July 20, 2008 from 1-5 pm at the Finger Nail at Howard Amon Park, Richland, Washington.
