Democrats host picnic for local Democratic candidates

Franklin County Democrats are hosting a meet-and-greet social and picnic at gazebo #1 at Chiawana Park from 4pm to 6:30 pm on Sunday, Aug. 1.

Local Democratic candidates invited to attend include House of Representatives' candidate Jay Clough, and Franklin County incumbents Treasurer Tiffany Coffland, Clerk Mike Killian, Auditor Zona Lenhart, and Prosecuting Attorney Steve Lowe. Each candidate will have campaign materials available and an opportunity to meet and greet picnic attendees in a social setting.

Personal lawn chairs are recommended at Chiawana Park. Hamburgers, hotdogs, salads, desserts and bottled water will be provided. Voluntary contributions to offset food costs will be accepted by the Franklin County Democrats Committee, sponsor of this social event.

To insure adequate amounts of food, attendees are asked to RSVP with name and number of attendees by July 31 to Bill DeBoard at billdeboard@yahoo.com or 845-7545.

Chiawana Park is located in West Pasco and reached by taking Court Street to the park sign at Road 88. At the park's entrance on Road 88, a park sign marks the right (west) turn to the west end of the park. The picnic will be at the concrete shelter at the end of the park's half-mile road.
